Today, 19th July 2012, signifies the day that the great, fireplace-hacking, guitar-shredding guru that is Brian Harold May, CBE, gets his bus pass.  Sad, but true.

Brian May has given many years of outstanding service to his Queen, and now, he’s hit that very special age where most of us think about canning it.  That said, at 65, our dear Brian May is still going strong, touring, promoting, saving Britain’s critters one solo at a time and tearing it up like the true rock legend that he is.

So in honour of Brian, on his 65th Birthday, here’s Freddie, raising a glass of champagne to the old man and his fireplace.  Rock on!
